Bilal Kasami, the leader of the Albanians’ party "BESA movement" in Macedonia, was dismissed on January 6 by his party's Central Assembly Council for failing to act accordingly with the party's constitution and not taking responsibility for local elections. At the same meeting, it is decided that the party will go to the Congress in February and until that time Dr. Nebeddin Kahremani who is MP and the oldest member of the party will take the lead.
Kasami, the dismissed leader of the party, conducted a parallel and unjustified meeting of Central Assembly in Tetovo with a small group of party members who support himself. At this meeting, Kasami announced that he did not recognize the decision taken by the absolute majority of the party's Central Assembly Council.
