Bulgarian President Rumen Radev announced that the parliamentary elections in the country will be held on April 4. The President of Bulgaria, who was highly critical of the Boyko Borisov government, supported the demonstrations that citizens accused of tying the prime minister with the oligarchy and demanded his resignation.
Borisov, who has ruled the country for nearly ten years, refused to resign, saying he did not want to "surrender to the chaos amidst the health and economic crisis".
