Johnson meets with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker in Luxembourg on September 19, 2019 for insisting a Brexit deal is possible. As he shook hands with Johnson, Juncker declared himself “cautiously optimistic” and insisted that “Europe never loses patience” despite the tortuous Brexit saga dragging on over three years. However there is still no result on Brexit meetings for both sides. According to EU officials, Johnson's unreasonable Brexit threat is a deception maneuver.
