The Social Democrats led by Zoran Zaev and the Democratic Union for Integration led by Ali Ahmeti reached a deal on forming a new cabinet. Zoran Zaev will have the post of PM while DUI’s Talat Xhaferi will retain the post of Speaker of Parliament. As a result of the agreement, an Albanian minister will lead the Foreign Ministry for the first time in Northern Macedonia's history.
