During the past 24 hours, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the villages on the Armenian border and in the Karabakh conflict zone were shelled for 57 times, including from large-caliber machine guns and sniper rifles, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported today.
The Azerbaijani positions deployed in the villages of Agdam, Kokhanebi, Asrik Djyrdakhan, and Agbulag of the Tovuz District, and in the village of Zamanly in the Gadabay District came under fire, the MoD has reported.
The shelling was also carried out from the territories that Azerbaijan treats as it's occupied by Armenia, says the statement of the Azerbaijani MoD.
