Serbia's governing conservative party led by President Aleksandar Vucic won in Sunday's parliamentary election. The preliminary results shows that the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) won over 60% of the vote, or some 190 seats in the 250-seat Serbian parliament, while the Socialist party - a junior coalition partner in the outgoing government - is seen coming second with 10.7 percent of the votes.
Among the minority parties, Vojvodina Hungarian Union won 9 deputies, the Justice and Peace Party (SPP) 3, the Albanian Democratic Alternative 3, and the Sanjak Democratic Action Party (SDA Sancak) 2.
Dr. Misala Pramenković, who was elected deputy from the Justice and Peace Party (SPP), became the first headscarf deputy in Serbia.
